Course overview.

Structure, nerves and delivery — for the presentation you cannot get out of.

The 1 day works through 5 modules and 15 individual topics, from Public speaking basics to Practice and role-play. Each one is taught then practised — you do the thing rather than watch it done — against situations from your own work.

Groups are kept small enough that everyone speaks more than once, and the facilitator is in the room the whole time rather than dropping in. You leave with the workbook and notes in your own words.

Who it is for.

Anyone whose job depends on other people. There is no prerequisite and no assumed seniority — individual contributors get as much out of the day as team leaders, because the situations are the same ones.

How it runs.

One day, roughly 9am to 4pm, with a facilitator in the room the whole time. It runs in a CBD training room in any of the six capitals, or live online in breakout groups.

Questions

Questions People Ask About This Course

Anything not answered here, call 1300 886 190 and ask a person.

How long is the Presentation Skills course?
It runs for 1 day, 9:00am – 4:00pm, with a facilitator in the room the whole time. Nothing is pre-recorded and there is no platform to log into afterwards.
How much does Presentation Skills cost?
$699 per person, excluding GST. That covers the course, the workbook and the room. If four or more people from one organisation need it, an in-house course usually works out cheaper — tell us the numbers and we will price both.
Do I need any experience before this course?
No prerequisite. The course is built around discussion and practice, so what you bring from your own work matters more than any prior training.
Can I do Presentation Skills online instead of in a classroom?
Yes. Every date marked “Live online” runs over video with the same facilitator and the same practice, in breakout groups rather than around a table. It suits teams spread across states.
Which cities do you run Presentation Skills in?
Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney, plus live online. Every venue is a CBD training room. If your city and date are not paired on the schedule above, ask — dates are released in blocks.
Can you run Presentation Skills just for our team?
Yes — that is in-house training. We come to your office, or you use one of our rooms, and the course runs for your people alone using your own scenarios. More on in-house training.

Four or more people? In-house is usually cheaper.

The same course, your people only, built around the situations they actually face.
