IT training
Training for the technical side of the business — the systems, platforms and practices that sit behind the software everyone else uses.
Where this sits.
The rest of this site is desktop software and professional development — the skills most people in an organisation need. IT training is the other half: the platform, data and security work that a smaller group needs to a much greater depth.
What it covers.
- Data and analytics — beyond Power BI reports into modelling, transformation and SQL
- Cloud and Microsoft 365 — administration rather than end use
- Automation — Power Automate, Power Apps and the platform around them
- Security awareness — the practices every team needs, not just the security team
- Development fundamentals — Python, SQL and scripting for people who are not developers
Some of these run on the shared Nexacu schedule rather than Wizard's own. Tell us the topic and we will point you at whichever one has a date sooner.
How it is delivered.
Instructor-led, like everything else here — in a CBD training room with a workstation each, at your office, or live online. Technical courses more often run as a series than a single day, because the material genuinely needs the practice between sessions.
Getting the level right.
Technical training goes wrong more often than desktop training, and almost always for the same reason: the group is mixed and the course is pitched at the middle, so half are lost and half are bored. Tell us what the group can already do and we will split it or re-pitch it rather than average it.
Tell us what the technical team needs to be able to do.
We will tell you what exists, what it costs, and when it runs.
