Access Advanced
Action queries, macros, split front end and back end, and sharing a database safely.
Tables, relationships and simple queries — why a database is not a spreadsheet.
The 2 days works through 11 modules and 31 individual topics, from Getting started with Microsoft Access to Report design and printing. Each module is taught then practised — you do the thing rather than watch it done — on our exercise files, and on your own where you are able to bring them.
Groups are kept small enough that everyone gets hands on the keyboard, and the facilitator is in the room the whole time rather than dropping in. You leave with the workbook, the exercise files and notes in your own words.
Every module we cover, and the topics inside each one. This is the same outline as the downloadable PDF — expand a module to see what sits under it.
Anybody who uses Access and has never been shown it properly. No prerequisite and no assumed background beyond ordinary computer confidence.
Two consecutive days, each roughly 9am to 4pm, with a facilitator in the room the whole time. You get a workstation each with the software installed, in a CBD training room in any of the six capitals, or live online on your own computer.
The next scheduled Microsoft Access Essentials dates, soonest first. If none of these work, tell us the city and we will let you know when the next block is released.

Very good session. I feel like Gordana did a great job of breaking down database topics and queries way better than I have been able to so far. I feel like the team is much more comfortable with Access and I have learned a lot myself.

Gordana mainly focused on the hands-on experience which is really helpful for us to understand how to use the Table, Queries and Forms etc.

I really like that he was patient when I feel lost. Especially when its moments where the access version I had didnt match the lecturers
